1. Arizona Vipers (2-1) - These guys look very good. They played the Marauders twice already, and they split the 2 games. They then dominated the Silver Wolves. They lost to the Marauders in OT, but they worked hard out there. Phillip North, who is the leader on the team, hasn't done as well as most might've thought, as HB Sam Lim as just overshadowing him. Defensively, Joe Jackson and Dustin Dingle have shut down some of the elite WRs in the league. They've given up big yardage occasionally, but thats what happens. All in all, these guys are a solid bunch.
2. Oakland Marauders (2-1) Oakland has shown that they want to compete for that West championship. Brian Tomlinson got off to a slow start, but after that, he just exploded on Special Teams, taking 2 punts back for TDs. Ben Mott seemed very efficient in his 3 games, but didn't run much. Mr Pwner has taken care of the #1 WR in each of the 3 games, only allowing 8 catches. This team will definently do good in the stretch, and its gonna be a wild finish in the West this year.
3. New Hampshire Hippies (2-1) These guys are a very good team. They showed that they can hang with the big boys in the west. Bam Risso threw 4 TD passes, and had a 122.3 QB Rating against the Wolves. Joey Guilliano had a career game, catching 4 passes for 125 yards and 2 TDs against the CPU CB. Chris King shows how inconsistent he is, by catching 2 passes for 24 yards. On Defense, these guys were tenacious. Nate Rogers got 4 Tackles, and an INT in his first game. Sabby Piscitelli had 2 tackles in his debut. Blair Thomas was the big surprise, racking up 5 tackles and 1 TFL. With how bad the Wolves are, these guys are a championship lock.
4. Rhode Island Wolves (0-3) They showed a lot of heart out their against the Hippies throughtout the first 3/4 of the first half, and how do they follow it up? By allowing 31 unanswered points, being shutout in the 2nd quarter, and blowing a 17 point lead in under 2 minutes. That was horrendus. Steve Savoy's 5 drops did not help anything. Donovan Culpepper looked good in the first half, but looked horrible in the 2nd half, throwing a pick, and just letting the defense knock him around. Ron Isley had 114 yards in the first half, and then followed it up with just 12 yards in the 2nd half. These guys looked pretty nice defensively, though, unless your talking about the secondary. Michael Dawkins and Jimie Hodge combined for 13 tackles, 3 PD, 1 TFL, and 1 FF. Thats more tackles and PD than Troy Polamalu, Ed Reed, and Eugene Johnson combined. I tell ya, that's not good defense.
