1. Arizona Vipers - In 2 Games, these guys have just killed the competition. North has thrown 5 TDs, Lim did pretty good the first game, accumulating 244 yards and 2 TDs and Fitzgerald also had a good first game, getting 140 yards and 2 long TDs. On defense, Isaac Pruitt is a very good Safety, getting 12 tackles in 2 games. Joe Jackson and Dustin Dingle need to bring in the passes. They could lock up games very early.
2. Oakland Marauders - These guys are the 2nd best team. Ben Mott, although he only had 8 passes, had a pretty good game vs the Silver Wolves, throwing 3 TDs. Brian Tomlinson had a combined 3 TDs, and did very well pounding it on the ground. Ned Bashum didn't do much in the game, but looks to be a valuable weapon in the offense. As does Richard Smeltzer, who had a 59 yard TD reception. Mr. Pwner was very good defensively. He smothered the WRs, and has good upside. Chuck Wicker and Graydon Udeya also help out with the defense. Shawn Brooks looks to anchor the run defense.
3. New Hampshire Hippies - The Hippies' play looks like they are stoned. Bam Risso seemed very undecisive in their loss to the Vipers. He went 8-25. Ken Sady seemed to power it out , as he got 66 yards on 11 carries. Sady should do fine this season. Joey Guilliano was the big surprise, as he was the number 1 target on the offense. Chris King has good upside, but Risso didn't help prove it, as King has -1 yard on 1 catch. On defense, Mario Williams looks very good. Luige Morgan needs a right hand man to cover the #2 man, or people like Darryl Bacon will be all over the defense. Chris Maher and Blair Thomas are underachievers at Safety. That will change as the season goes along.
4. Rhode Island Silver Wolves - This GM needs to take care of business. Donovan Culpepper is the worst QB in the league, and having 1 WR for the game against the Marauders didn't help. Especially when it is Steve Savoy, the worst #1 WR in the league. It's never good when a CPU WR has more yards than your Human one. Ron Isley and Copernicus Cook are the whole offense, basically. Isley doesn't have a very good supporting cast, so he probably won't get over 1000 yards on the season. On defense, its worse. Troy Polomalu is an underachiever at safety, and he doesn't have very good corners either. Eugene Johnson as the only CB is not good. Michael Dawkins is the only upside to this defense. If these guys wanna compete, they need to work very hard, because these guys look horrible.
