Round 1:
1. Marauders - Brian Tomlinson, HB
Brian Tomlinson put up good numbers in the rookie game, and won player of the game. Everyone was expecting him as the number one pick, and he was a good one at that. His speed is almost unmatchable, but he can still do some power moves. He is a phenominal halfback, and will be great in the future.
Draft Grade - A
2. Hippies- Chris King, WR
Chris King is one of the better receivers in the draft, but I'm not I would've taken him over Anquan Fitzgerald. King has good hands, and great speed. He can take a short pass, and make it a long gain. He will be good in the future, but shouldn't have been the 2nd overall pick.
Draft Grade - B
3. Vipers- Anquan Fitzgerald, WR
Anquan Fitzgerald is the future of the Madden Sim League. His speed, and hands are in comparision to the likes of Jerry Rice. Fitzgerald is the top receiver in the draft, and is going to have Philip North throwing to him which is a definately plus. Watch out for Fitzy in the years to come.
Draft Grade - A+
4. Silver Wolves - Ron Isley, HB
Ron Isley is a fast, but powerful halfback. He was 1st in overall, when the draft started and ranked #1 on many draft boards. The Silver Wolves picked up a great halfback with Isley since he is smart, and can turn on the jets when needed. He will be an excellent halfback in the Madden Sim League.
Draft Grade - A
Round 2:
1. RI - Jamie Hodge, MLB
Jamie Hodge was not ranked high as a middle linebacker on many of the draft boards, and he is lucky to go 2nd round. I don't see why the Silver Wolves took him in this round, when they could've gotten him later. Hodge is a fast, and hard-hitting middle linebacker, but not 2nd round material
Draft Grade - D
2. AV- Dustin Dingle, CB
Dustin Dingle has been known as a dominate cornerback, and is a good choice in the 2nd round. He will be a good corner in the years to come as he is already fast, and can keep up with the fastest receivers. He'll be shutdown in the future, and an excellent choice here.
Draft Grade - B+
3. NH- Ken Sady, RB
Ken Sady was the last ranked halfback on the draft board, and only him and Sam Lim were left. I would've taken Lim over Sady, but the Hippies have different opinions. Sady is strong, and quick. He can cut through gaps like nothing, and will be great in this offense.
Draft Grade - C
4. OM- Chuck Wicker, CB
Chuck Wicker wasn't the highest rated cornerback, but he is an alright choice here. He can keep up with some receivers, and has good eyes for the ball. If he practices then he'll be great in his future.
Draft Grade - C
